Spicy Datil Pepper Salsa from Datil Sensation has a unique flavor due to the intermingling of sweet and tart flavors. Sweet Onions and Brown Sugar add a fairly intense sweetness that is contrasted by the tartness of Vinegar. The peppers and other spices are relatively light in flavor giving this salsa an almost pickled-like taste.
While this salsa is made with Datil and Ghost Peppers, the salsa itself is not very hot. They’ve tamed the heat of the peppers dramatically. On the heat scale (0-5), this is about halfway to 1.
