This play on the classic Italian staple swaps out red pepper flakes for habaneros. The ideal pairing with pasta of course, Habanero and Cheese Turkey Meatballs will give you a completely new experience of such a tried-and-true dish. Add your own tomato sauce or perhaps a garlic butter sauce for less acidity. Just remember to tell your family before they dig in – these meatballs are really hot!

For a nice flavor contrast, finish the meal with something sweet. Fire Roasted Stuffed Pears contain a light heat from tabasco sauce, but after the heat of the habaneros, it will feel like a nice transition to the pear’s sweetness, as well as the savory base of butter and walnut.

  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp ground Black Pepper
