About Gourmet Red Hot Sauce

Here’s what Men Pa’w has to say about their Gourmet Red Hot Sauce:

Men Pa’w is categorized as a specialty sauce; It combines heat and flavor of FIVE different types of Exotic Peppers, along with the pleasant blend of other seasoning spices in order to distribute a sauce path with lots of flavor, and with heat you would expect from a Habanero Peppers Sauce.

Spicy Addict Review

The combination of distinct, regional spices – including a variety of Peppers, Onion, Garlic, and Curry Powder – make this sauce uniquely Haitian-style, setting it apart from other hot sauces.

It starts with a hint of sweetness which is likely derived from the natural sugars in Habaneros and Apple Cider Vinegar. A notable tanginess soon emerges from the Vinegar which provides acidity and contrast to the sweetness. Then, bold, savory flavors of Garlic, Onion, and Curry Powder burst forth and linger with the support of the Olive and Canola Oils. Next, the wide range of Peppers used in this sauce creates a robust and complex structure which, when combined with the unique blend of spices and Vinegar, gives this sauce a pickled quality similar to that of Indian achaar. Finally, the flavors trail off leaving lingering notes of Celery and saltiness.

This Haitian-style sauce is a fantastic compliment to chicken, particularly dark cuts such as chicken thighs. Additionally, the robust savory elements allow it to stand up to bolder-flavored meats like lamb (or goat). It also adds vibrancy and flavor to eggplant or other similar vegetables that may have a mild bitterness. This sauce has a considerable amount of heat and ranks around a 3 on a 5-point scale.
