About Habanero Maple Erable
Here’s what Sinai Gourmet has to say about their Habanero Maple Erable:
Our first truly hot hot sauce, Habanero Maple uses one of the world’s oldest peppers for its incredible smokiness and heat. Originally from the Amazon and traveling all over Latin America, this pepper rates around 200,000 Scoville units and adds a maple sweet grilled / barbecue type flavour to foods.
Spicy Addict Review
Habanero Maple Erable from Sinai Gourmet starts with a hint of Maple Syrup flavor followed quickly by bold flavors of Habanero Peppers and spices. The use of Olive Oil brings all the ingredients together into a single mélange. A mild bitterness is noticeable from the fresh peppers. As the peppers and spices fade a bit, a light saltiness
This puree works well as a dip for vegetables, on top of a burger, or even as a base for other sauces. This puree is predominantly peppers and so the full heat of the Habanero comes through. On a 5-point heat scale, the sauce ranks at a solid 3.5 or higher.
